Inventory, Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

A bit about the role…

We are looking for a hard-working, organized and detail-oriented Shipping / Receiving Coordinator. YOU would be responsible for shipping & receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping a concise record of inventory, and accurately filling customer orders. This role is at the heart of what we do at Solink and plays an integral role in our operations! You should be able to keep good records and keep track of incoming and outgoing stock to ensure inventory levels remain steady.

WHO YOU ARE:

• You have experience in logistics, retail, or customer service 
• You have the ability to scan and sort incoming and outgoing stock
• You have the ability to receive, stock, and stack
• You have EXCELLENT attendance and punctuality
• You have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks with minimal supervision
• You must be able to comfortably lift 50 lbs
• You hold good written and verbal communication skills
• You have STRONG attention to detail and a sense of time, organization, and urgency
• You have strong customer service skills
• You have the ability to work independently and within a team
• If you have previous experience using UPS Worldship, this would be considered a HUGE asset!

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidates must undergo a criminal records check upon hire;
• Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included), or eligible to work in Canada;
• Be willing to comply with Solink’s own security policies and standards.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Manage shipments and receipts of all products, materials, and supplies.
• Collaborate and communicate logistics with internal teams, technicians, vendors, distributors and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
• Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and aesthetically pleasing inventory/stock area
• Promptly gather deliveries, sort and stock receivables.
• Maintain an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting.
• Engage internal and external parties with a positive attitude.
• Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.
• Unpack and route goods to appropriate storage areas.
• Investigate and implement an internal record-keeping system.
• Provides additional testing, wiping, refurbishing of necessary hardware
